1. Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Tristan David (“we”, “us”) governing your use of the WealthBoard mobile application (“WealthBoard”, the “app”). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. What WealthBoard Is — and What It Is Not

WealthBoard is a personal record-keeping tool. You enter your own holdings, transactions and dividends, and the app organises them and shows publicly available market data alongside them.

WealthBoard is not a financial advisor, broker, or dealer. Nothing in the app is investment, tax, or legal advice, and nothing in it is a recommendation to buy or sell any security. We are not registered with any securities regulator. Decisions you make about your money are yours alone.

WealthBoard does not connect to your brokerage. It cannot place trades, move money, or read your account at any institution. Every figure in the app derives from what you typed in, plus public market data.

Market data may be delayed, incomplete or wrong. Quotes, charts, dividend records and news come from third-party sources. They are provided for general information, are not guaranteed to be accurate or timely, and must not be relied on for trading. Always check your official brokerage statements — those, not this app, are the record of what you own.

3. Your Account

An account is optional; WealthBoard works fully without one. If you create one, you are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for everything done through your account. You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live, and at least 13 years old. You may delete your account at any time from Menu → My Account → Delete account.

4. WealthBoard Premium (Subscriptions)

WealthBoard is free to use. WealthBoard Premium is an optional auto-renewing subscription that unlocks additional features.

Billing. Payment is charged to your Apple App Store or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.

Free trial. If you start the 7-day free trial and do not cancel at least 24 hours before it ends, it converts automatically into a paid annual subscription. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited if you purchase a subscription before the trial ends.

Managing and cancelling. You manage or cancel your subscription in your store account settings — on iOS, Settings → your name → Subscriptions; on Android, the Play Store → Payments & subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

Refunds. Purchases are handled by Apple and Google, and refunds are subject to their policies. We cannot issue refunds for purchases made through their stores. Contact Apple Support or Google Play Support for refund requests.

Changes. We may change subscription prices or what Premium includes. Any price change takes effect only at your next renewal, and you will be told in advance and given the chance to cancel, as your store requires.

5. Your Data and Backups

Your portfolio data belongs to you. You can export it at any time as a backup file, and we encourage you to do so regularly and keep it somewhere you will still have if this phone does not come back.

Cloud backup is a convenience, not a guarantee. We do not warrant that cloud backup or restore will be available, uninterrupted, or error-free, and you remain responsible for keeping your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose. Restoring a backup replaces what is on the device and cannot be undone.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: reverse engineer, decompile or tamper with the app except where that right cannot lawfully be restricted; use the app to break any law; scrape, resell or redistribute the market data shown in the app; or interfere with the app's infrastructure or with other users' data.

7. Termination

You may stop using WealthBoard at any time by deleting it. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms, or if we discontinue the app. If we discontinue it, we will give reasonable notice in-app so you can export your data first.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any figure it displays is accurate.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any lost profits, lost data, or investment losses, arising out of or relating to your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

10. Apple and Google

These Terms are between you and us, not with Apple or Google. Apple and Google are not responsible for the app or its content, and have no obligation to provide support for it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, notify you in-app. Continuing to use WealthBoard after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. This does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer-protection laws where you live.

13. Contact

Questions about these Terms: tristandavid20@gmail.com, or the in-app “Contact Support” option in the Menu.
